Our Gap year courses

If you’re a school or university leaver, our gap year ski course is designed just for you. Choose between resort destinations in Canada, Japan and Europe and share a once-in-a-lifetime experience with skiers your age while you train, qualify and work as an internationally recognised ski instructor. The longer the season the better. To increase your time on the snow we’ve added a guaranteed paid job offer to the end of each ski course. That means you get to stay and play in your chosen resort for over 3 months!

Our training in Niseko was run by Propeak, one of the most established ski schools in the area. Our trainer, Campbell, had around 18 seasons worth of experience so its some of the best coaching I’ve ever received. My skiing technique was dissected, critiqued and then built back up, so I’m skiing better than ever. The course sets you up for success and its great fun both on and off the slopes.

WE ARE SNO simply made everything easy. From the organisation prior to the course to the communication leading up to departure. We met our program manager at the airport and it didn’t take long to settle into resort life. We were fully prepared for the exams with excellent guidance from our trainers. The experience continues to be extraordinary with the help of ongoing support from the team at We Are Sno.

The whole experience was amazing. We all worked hard for the qualification, but we had plenty of time to chill. The accommodation was everything we needed with comfy beds, and only a short walk from the slopes and bars. The quality of the training definitely gave us the upper hand compared to similar programs and the 100% pass rate is proof. I could not recommend this more to anyone thinking about working a ski season abroad.
