Take our 5 question instructor eligibility quiz to see if you are eligible for a snowboard instructor internship.

CHOOSE A RESORT
A member of our training team will be in touch to guide you through the process and focus on finding the right course for you.

TRAIN AND QUALIFY
Travel to your chosen resort at the beginning of winter, meet your course mates and begin training to become a qualified instructor.
4
BEGIN INSTRUCTING
You will have the opportunity to take up employment as an instructor over the school holiday period in our partner ski school.

QUALIFICATIONS IN NEW ZEALAND

Complete a snowboard instructor internship in Queenstown and you’ll be set up to work in a selection of winter destinations across the globe. You could be teaching on Canada’s stunning slopes one season and enjoying Japan’s 15+ metres of powder snow the next.

Your snowboard internship qualification comes from Snowboard Instruction New Zealand (SBINZ) which is governed by the International Ski Instructors Association (ISIA). ISIA sets the minimum standard requirements for ski and snowboard instructors internationally.

Ive always loved snowboarding and this course was an opportunity to do that on a daily basis. Its hard not to enjoy yourself when you put us in one of the most beautiful places in the world with some of greatest snow imaginable. The course is fantastic, I definitely didn’t expect it to be this much fun. Everything has been super easy going and I would 100% recommend it to anyone else.

The WE ARE SNO instructor course is an extremely comprehensive and exciting path into the snowsports industry. With extensive, on-snow training from experienced trainers, a guaranteed job offer, round-the-clock support from the course manager and great accommodation. You won’t find a better course for such a good price. If you are interested in teaching snowboarding or skiing, I couldn’t recommend this more.

One of the main reasons I choose We Are Sno was actually the design and ease of use of the website. The customer experience was impressive and any communication answered very promptly. Everything about the course has been fantastic, especially the accommodation, training and quality of snow. The social aspect has also been a big plus, going out for meals and drinks as a group was great for learning about the culture.
