How it works

1
Check your eligibility

Take our four question eligibility quiz to see if you are eligible for one of our ski instructor internships in Canada.

2
Choose a resort

A member of our team will be in touch to guide you through the process and help you find the right Canadian internship resort for you.

3
Train and qualify

Travel to your Canadian resort at the beginning of winter, meet your course mates and begin training to become a qualified ski instructor.

4
Begin Instructing

As soon as you become a qualified instructor you will start working and earning as a full-time instructor in one of our partner ski schools in Canada.

QUALIFICATIONS IN CANADA

Following your ski instructor internship in Canada, you’ll gain an international instructor qualification from the Canadian Ski Instructors’ Alliance (CSIA). CSIA is governed by the International Ski Instructors Association (ISIA), which sets the minimum standard requirements for ski instructors internationally.

Training through CSIA means you’ll have the freedom to work as a ski instructor in a range of prime winter destinations around the world.

Your Instructor Job

After completing your CSIA Level 1 ski instructors’ exam, you’ll automatically transition into paid employment in the same ski school you trained with. Senior members of the snowsports school and your WE ARE SNO programme manager will help you settle into your new role and become a valuable member of the team.

Both Canadian resorts we work with have large and busy schools, their standard of work is high, and wages are competitive. Plus, ski internship employment usually runs until the end of the winter season, meaning you get to stay in Canada for longer and make the most of your time on the mountains.
