QUESTIONS ANSWERED

Read common questions about the training courses below, or contact our team for more information.

Our course schedule is designed to ensure you have a great balance of on-snow training and free time/days off. Each week you will have 5 training days, with 2 days off for rest and recreation. The training runs for 5 hours each day with a break for lunch. On days off our resort teams are busy organising fun things for the group to do together. Anything from local activities, cinema, socials, eating out, sports, resort trips and more.

Our ski instructor training courses have a pass rate of 100%, for the level 1 exam. Our level 2 exam pass rate is around 85%, which is well above industry average for this qualification.

The qualifications gained on our courses do not have an expiry date. However, to keep your qualification active you must pay a small annual membership fee to the governing body. Note, this is only necessary if/when you are employed and working as an instructor and your first year of membership is included with all of our courses.

To ensure we pick suitable candidates for our courses we do have a selection process. This is so when accepted onto a programme you can be confident that those around you all have similar attributes. You start by completing our basic eligibility quiz on the website. This is followed up with an information call to discuss suitable course options and answer any questions you may have. The final stage of the application is a relaxed telephone interview.
