SNOWBOARD INSTRUCTOR TRAINING

The core component of our snowboard instructor courses is the on-snow training package. This is delivered by hand-picked trainers with a wealth of industry experience. The trainers we work with are also qualified examiners, who have successfully guided hundreds of prospective instructors through certification courses.

Snowboard instructor training is divided into two elements, riding and teaching. Firstly your riding technique is assessed, broken down and improved upon. You will learn how to use the terrain to your advantage and get comfortable with all areas of the mountain. Secondly, you will be introduced to teaching practices, the methodology involved and the progressions needed to teach others.

SNOWBOARD INSTRUCTOR QUALIFICATIONS

Each of our snowboard instructor courses lead to industry qualifications and certifications that are internationally recognised and interchangeable. They will allow you to work as a snowboard instructor in multiple countries around the world. In Canada we work with the Canadian Association of Snowboard Instructors (CASI),  while in Japan and New Zealand we train towards the Snowboard Instruction New Zealand (SBINZ) qualifications.

For snowboarders looking to enhance their snowsports education, we provide an advanced package option. Further training and certification courses can include, level 2, teaching children and avalanche safety. We aim to give you all of the necessary tools to kick start a rewarding career as a snowboard instructor.
