A member of our training team will be in touch to guide you through the process and focus on finding the right course for you.
Travel to your chosen resort at the beginning of winter, meet your course mates and begin training to become a qualified snowboard instructor.
After level 1, you will continue to train towards the more advanced level 2. Having this qualification allows you to work internationally as an instructor.
Qualifications in New Zealand
Your snowboard instructor qualifications will come from Snowboard Instruction New Zealand (SBINZ) which is governed by the International Ski Instructors Association (ISIA). The ISIA sets the minimum standard requirements for ski and snowboard instructors internationally.
Complete the instructor training programme in NZ and you’ll be set up to work in a selection of stunning winter destinations across the globe.
Training talk
The terrain available at Cardrona and Treble Cone is amongst the very best that NZ has to offer. You can expect action packed and fun training days, with regular feedback and video analysis. The end goal will see you qualify with the SBINZ level 1 & 2 certifications, and your snowboard skills will be unrecognisable. Once qualified, our team can also assist in finding future work opportunities around the world.
Off the snow our resort team will keep you as busy as you like with regular group activities, meals and socials.
